We are delighted to announce that the 18th confirmed act for this year’s London Eurovision Party is this year’s Swedish representative, Benjamin Ingrosso!
Dance You Off to the Top!
After his Melodifestivalen debut last year with the infectious pop track ‘Good Lovin’, Benjamin returned to the competition this year with the funky 80s inspired groove ‘Dance You Off’ – instantly striking a chord with viewers which saw him qualify seamlessly to the grand final. Just under two weeks ago in Stockholm, he stormed to victory, topping the International jury result and public televote after a dazzling live performance.
25+ Million Spotify streams under his belt
As of now, Ingrosso is one of Sweden’s most popular male pop-artists. He has recently surpassed 25 million streams on Spotify and has reached 1 x Platinum and 3 x Gold with his single releases.
Having a lit spark over in Scandinavia with his breakthrough last year, his undeniable pop sensibility and genuine musicality spread like wildfire through the rest of Europe with infectious hits such as ’Good Lovin’’, ’Do You Think About Me’ and ’One More Time’
Aside from his Eurovision preparations, he is currently putting the finishing touches to his first album with renewed hit makers Fernando Garbibay (Lady Gaga, Sia), Omega (Jason Derula, Daya) and Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, Borns).
Sweden are number 18 for #LEP2018!
More acts are still to be confirmed in the coming days ahead of this year’s event on Thursday, 5th April and the final ticket release on Thursday 22nd March at 9am.
